Chivas vs. América 2018 live stream: Time, TV schedule, and how to watch El Súper Clásico online

The biggest rivalry in Mexico, North America, and one of the biggest in all of the Americas is Chivas de Guadalajara against Club America, and it’s a clash that’s often had major implications in the LigaMX title race. That rivalry gets renewed on Saturday night in Guadalajara, and Chivas will be hoping to use this match to kick-start a flagging season.
This round of their age-old rivalry doesn’t have the same implications on this season’s Clausuratable in LigaMX as it often does, though. America are on top of the table, even with Santos Laguna on points and riding a league-best defense to a better goal differential than Santos. Chivas’ defense has been significantly worse, leaking 15 goals in just nine matches as they’ve plummeted to 17th in the table, the second-lowest rank in the current LigaMX standings.
But those struggles are something Chivas are hoping has been put behind them, and they hope that a big win here can turn their season around. Both teams are actually in very similar form, with two wins and three draws in their last five all-competitions matches, including their CONCACAF Champions League round of 16 ties. Both teams moved through to the quarterfinals successfully, but that doesn’t matter now — all that matters is which team can come away with three vital points and the momentum that inevitably comes from winning such a huge rivalry clash.
